NCSU Tseminyu district unit office inaugurated

Nagaland Contractor’s & Supplier’s Union (NCSU) Tseminyu District Unit office was inaugurated by Pele Khezhie, president, NCSU Head Office Kohima, in the presence of Tesinlo Semy, president of Rengma Hoho on May 9, 2025.


Pele Khezhie, in his speech, encouraged the members to be proactive in infrastructure development, particularly in the newly formed Tseminyu district. He called for strict adherence to the government’s standing order on open tenders, promoting transparency and accountability in contract and supply work.


He further noted that NCSU operates across all districts in Nagaland, with over 5,000 registered members, including 2,000 Class-1 contractors. He assured members that efforts would be made for all-round development, particularly for local contractors.


The event, chaired by Aba Khing, general secretary of NCSU Tseminyu District Unit, featured a welcome address by M.S. Khing, president, a dedicatory prayer by pastor Yhunthonglo Khing, acknowledgments by advisor Hillo Khing, and a vote of thanks by vice president Hyunsi Thyüg.


A press statement from John Kath, general secretary of NCSU, highlighted the importance of the newly established district unit.


The upcoming 50-year golden jubilee celebrations of NCSU later this year were also highlighted, with a call for collective participation.


The event was attended by dignitaries, including chairperson of Tseminyu Town Council, Ruth Rengma, Asao Seb, SDEO, Rengma Youth Organisation, and local elders.
