A substantial consignment of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was destroyed in Wokha on May 17, in compliance with legal directives, reaffirming the district authorities’ commitment to enforcing laws against the illegal sale and distribution of alcohol.
The destruction was carried out in the presence of the destruction committee, led by Asst. Public Prosecutor Renbemo Tungoe, along with SDPO Benrithung, SDO (C) Echungbemo Erui, and EAC Probationers Dr. Chuchong Noklang and Imtiyenla K.
The confiscated IMFL included brands such as Bacardi Black, Blenders Pride, Iconic Whisky, Vodka Magic Moment, Signature, Old Monk, Royal Stag, MC Run, MC Luxury, Kingfisher Beer, Budweiser, Breezer, and AC Black Whisky, all of which were seized during various enforcement operations within the district.
