ULB issue: CNCCI clarifies on govt assurance claim

Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has clarified that the official letter dated May 17, 2025, from minister K.G. Kenye, addressed to CNCCI chairman and circulated in the media, did not contain any assurance from the state government regarding the inclusion of District Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) representatives in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
In a statement issued by its media affairs, CNCCI stated: “The statement made by the hon’ble minister—that the government did not give any assurance—as published in some local dailies on 20/05/2025, is factually correct.”
