Nagaland along with the rest of the world would be observing ‘World Blood Donors Day’ under the theme ‘Give the gift of life: donate blood’ on June 14, 11 a.m. at State Academy Hall, Kohima with minister for youth resources and sports, Merentoshi Jamir as chief guest.
The programme is being organized in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland Branch (IRCSN), District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU) supported by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, Nagaland State Blood Transfusion Council government of Nagaland. Award ceremony and voluntary blood donation will be held during the programme.
