Nagaland state BJP party unit office inaugurated at Wokha Hqs

Wokha district BJP party unit office was inaugurated at the centre of Wokha town here at the Main Traffic Point with Nagaland state BJP president Visasolie Lhoungu as chief guest Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Lhoungu said that the BJP was hopeful and confident of becoming a major partner in government formation after the next general election. For this, he advised his party men to start focussing on resolving standing issues, to set up strong workers at the mandals and village levels, imparting of proper training and guidance to workers on party ideologies and principles, and further tasked them with ensuring loyalty, discipline and integrity of party workers at various levels.
The chief guest also said that since Wokha district has 2 BJP legislators out of 4 at present in the state, there was greater scope “for us to perform much better (in Wokha district) in the coming elections.”
The Nagaland state BJP president also said that the people of India had voted the BJP-led NDA government to power at the centre as they desired change, and that after a long time people were experiencing stability and actual development in all spheres all over the country.
Earlier, Rev. T. Ngullie dedicated the office and Lhoungu cut the ribbons while inaugurating the Wokha district BJP party unit office.
Advisor for treasuries and accounts, and relief and rehabilitation Dr. T.M. Lotha appealed party men to work unitedly as the strength and power of the party depended on the party organization.
Referring to recent reports in newspapers on developments within Wokha district BJP, Dr. Lotha said it was the highest breach of party discipline to go to press on internal matters and warned that groupism within the party would not be tolerated.
Nagaland state BJP vice president and the party incharge for Wokha district K. James Vizo said BJP party was not new to the Lothas unlike in other areas of the state. He also asserted that there was a ‘Modi-wave’ all over the country.
Wokha district BJP president L. Meribemo Kinghen, who chaired the function, also delivered welcome address and expressed gratitude to Dr. T.M. Lotha and K. James Vizo for their support in enabling the Wokha district BJP to inaugurate its unit office.
Zuchobemo Kikon and Konathung Ezung presented special numbers, Wokha district BJP general secreary Z. Mhomo Humtsoe proposed vote of thanks and Wokha district BJP treasurer pronounced benediction at the office inuagural function attended by party functionaries from the state, district, mandal and village levels including from the mahila and yuva morchas.
Later, attendees were served lunch which was hosted by Nagaland state BJP executive member Chubathung Odyuo at his residence at Orchid Colony, Wokha town.
