A stolen official vehicle allocated to a Parliamentary Secretary was recovered and two persons arrested in this connection here in the state capital today.
According to police, two persons identified as Rakuyio Phimo (25) of Mao Gate and presently residing in 6th Mile Dimapur and Kayisow (27) of Makhel village were arrested and the white Bolero they were traveling was seized near BOC here today. They were arrested while coming up from Dimapur and proceeding toward Manipur side.
The Bolero with fake number plate NL-01C 5693 which original registration number is NL-10 6607 and presently allocated to Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Commerce Dr.K.C Nihoshe was reportedly stolen somewhere in Circular road Dimapur on July 22 last and a case has been registered with Dimapur police. Further, investigation was on till the time of filing this report.
