Two-day career guidance seminar cum retreat was held on July 10 and 11 at generation countdown youth ministry, Sovima, Dimapur on the theme “The treasure is where your heart is”.
The seminar was organised targeting young students from class 8 and above keeping in mind the difficulties faced by students in choosing the right career and qualities that one must build to succeed in life.
Dr. Lanusangla, proprietor heritage publishing house, and Dr. Jamedi, assistant professor Dimapur Government College as resource persons stressed on the urgent need of having a mission plan in life besides discussing on different career options that one can choose in life.
The special evening service on day 1 was conducted by Toshi Longkumer missionary, who urged the young minds to assess the good qualities that God has blessed them and to use their qualities in choosing the right career.
Dr. Aotoshi, CEO Window Media, spoke on the vast number of opportunities that exist for young Naga entrepreneurs in the business profession as resource person on day 2. A personal interaction session was also conducted at the seminar.
