‘Kids for fame season 3’ audition began on a fine, warm note at Hiyo Café, Dimapur on Saturday.
Participants at the audition round were asked to sing different songs. The judges for the audition were Kashito Kiba, managing director Pheto music association, Jethro, proprietor Live Sound and Moanungsang, 1st Naga Idol and proprietor Café Destination.
The ‘Kids for fame season 3 judges said that they are looking for a talented, smart kid, adding singing diction was one of the most important factors of good vocal.
The judges also advised participants both in their singing ability and their personality so as to groom them for the next round. Almost all the participants were in their teens aiming to take up singing as their profession.
Altogether 9 were selected for the next round. The selected participants are Kathaungam 14 years, Fable S. Ao 14 years, Nchumthung Mozhui 15 years, Myanthung 17 years, Gifty Shitri 15 years, Imsubenla 15 years, Meyinaro 14 years, Atokili 15 years and Losili 15 years.
The prize money for ‘Kids for fame season 3’ is `2 lakh and year’s education scholarship.
Meanwhile, organizers said the audition (English or Hindi) for Kohima district will be held on July 18 and Mokokchung district on July 20. All kids between 10-17 years can participate in the audition.
