Educated unemployed union Nagaland (EUUN) has alleged that the department of treasuries and accounts appointed 22 junior accounts assistants and two LDA cum-computer assistants through backdoor on July 21.
The filling up of vacancies of jobs was recommended by the departmental recruitment board without giving advertisement or conducting competitive examination entirely violating recruitment norms, stated EUUN.
The union stated that appointing junior assistants and LDA-cum- computer assistants on merit basis was a big deception to the younger generation.
Coordination committee Dimapur (CCD) EUUN has condemned the government for carrying out backdoor appointment making false statements of merit basis.
CCD, EUUN has demanded the government to immediately revoke the appointment and advertise all vacant posts for open competitive examination. Failing which, the union said it would be compelled to take its own course of action.
