A befitting farewell programme in honor of the out-going director Neise Mich was held at directorate, land resources conference hall on July 26.
Those who spoke at the farewell programme included Moatoshi Longkumer additional director, DPOs and field staff, Vakrale, Registrar, N.Kehie DPO (Phek) and Akato, assistant inspector, Mhathung Yanthan, director and Menukhol John, commissioner & secretary, land resources.
Outgoing director, Neise Mich in his farewell speech expressed gratitude to officers and staff for the love and affections showered upon him and said that he was contented to enter a new chapter of life with no regrets and acknowledged God for the immense blessing to reach this stage.
He also congratulated Mhathung Yanthan on his promotion and further challenged all officers and staff to render more selfless sacrifice for the department to soar higher to next level.
Agri dept: Department of Agriculture bid farewell to outgoing director, A.Y. Ovung on attaining his superannuation. The function was chaired by E.H. Lotha, additional director and HoD I. Panger, Jt. Director, spoke on behalf of the directorate officers & staff and Ahovi sumi spoke on behalf of the outpost officers. All district agriculture officers & SDAOs attended the function bidding warm farewell to outgoing Director.
Outgoing director on his parting speech expressed gratefulness to all officers and staff for their support and cooperation during his tenure. He specially thanked minister of agriculture, Dr. Chumben Murry & APC for their guidance and support.
