Assam Valley Baptist Mission on goodwill tour to Nagaland

Assam Valley Baptist Mission (AVBM) in a goodwill gesture tour visited Clark Theological College in Aolijen and Mangmetong Baptist Church in Mokokchung district on July 28 and 29.

On July 28, the mission members led by its president and executive members shared their mission works in Assam and challenges faced by it.

AVBM members also thanked the CTC student union for their positive affirmation extended to AVBM in carrying out certain mission works and also supporting some Church pastors amongst AVBM constituent Churches.

The members visited Mangmetong Baptist Church on July 29 and shared with the congregation during devotional service.

The service was chaired by Er. Imlisunep Ao, Vice Principal ITI Mokokchung and a very strong well wisher of the AVBM. Introduction of the visiting members to the congregation and key note address was delivered by its president where the vision and mission of the Assam Valley Baptist Mission were clearly said.

Life testimony was shared by Suren Todu, Pastor of Natunmati Baptist Church and also executive of the mission. Exhortation was pronounced by Atua Nag, Pastor of Dihingeapar Baptist Church and also executive of the mission.

Huni Gogoi, Evangelist of the mission shared his experiences with a brief account of the mission. It is pertinent to mention here that the salary component of the evangelist is being sponsored by the Mangmetong Arogo Mission Board effective from this January for a period of three years.

Imsu Jamir who is the secretary cum deacon of Nakachari Ao Baptist church and also advisor of the mission shared the message.
