A water tank was inaugurated by AP Singh, DIG, CRPF, Khatkhati, as chief guest at Ghoshito village, Niuland on August 27, 2013. Several dignitaries, including the wife of Singh and CRPF officers, were present at the function.
In his speech, AP Singh asked the youths to take part in the recruitment programmes organized by CRPF and assured the villagers of all possible help from CRPF for welfare of the village, according to a release issued by Ghoshito Village Council chairman Vizheto Chishi and Head GB G Ghoito Yeptho.
Sameer Srivastava, Commandant, 155 Bn, CRPF, Bokajan, stressed the importance of drinking water in the area and highlighted the civis programmes taken up by CRPF for welfare of the people.
The programme was chaired by Vizheto Chishi, while the welcome speech was delivered by G Ghoito Yeptho. G Tokiho Yeptho, chairman, Watsan, gave the vote of thanks.
