PDTA to promote tree plantation

Phek District Traders’ Association (PDTA) in a meeting with Ukhrul District Traders’ Association and Pungro Subdivision Timber Traders’ Union (PSTTU) gas decided to plant varieties of tree saplings.
In this connection, PDTA has informed the authorities of the hospitals under Pfütsero, Chizami, Jessami, Ukhrul, Meluri, and Pungro to keep the space ready for planting trees before April 15.
PDTA president, Sanyi Dukru said the association has decided to plant varieties of tree saplings in the hospital compound of the above mentioned places to promote tree plantation and do their bit in preserving the environment.
It has also been informed that the PDTA will be providing the tree saplings for free, wherein the team will carry out the plantation from April 15 to 20.
It has further informed that the concerned hospitals may also specify the number and variety of tree saplings they want to be planted in their compounds. For any clarification, one may contact at 9436606303.
