Dr. K.S. Tsikhano (Kezhalhousa), a prominent figure of Kohima village, passed away at his residence in L. Khel, Kohima village December 19 evening.
Dr. K.S. Tsikhano, son of Theyiekhrielie, L. Khel, Kohima village, was born on May 25, 1929.He set and organised Students’ Christian Movement, Dibrugarh Unit, Assam Medical College in 1952. Dr.Tsikhano worked under Dr. E.S. Downs Medical Missionaries (USA) at Tura Christian Hospital from 1956. After 18 years, returned and practiced in Kohima for many years till old age. He was former member of NBSE and school committee of TMS, GHS Kohima & BES (Baptist High). He leaves behind his wife, one son, two daughters and seven grandchildren. His funeral would be held at his residence Dec 20.
