     PVC informs: Pyotchu Village Council (PVC) has informed residents of Pyotchu village that there will be a general meeting on December 17, 8 am at Community Hall, Pyotchu village. The meeting has been convened to discuss prevailing issues and important agendas for the welfare of the village. All the members residing in the village and towns have been requested to be present at the event.

    CTCSU 29th general session: Chozuba Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (CTCSU) has convened its 29th general session for December 21 to 22 at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba town. All public leaders, students and well-wishers of the sub-division have been requested to attend the session. The session will culminate with a games and sports event.     HMHP to celebrate pre-Christmas: Healing Ministry for Handicapped People (HMHP) has invited former funding members, board members, registered members, and pastors and evangelists of other Churches to partake in its 27th pre-Christmas special service which will be celebrated along with handicapped people on December 16, 1 pm at the Railway Station front parking space.

    NMSU general session-&-citizens meet: New Monger Students Union (NMSU) has convened its 47th general session-&-citizen meet for December 26-28 under the theme, “Rooted Together”. All citizens of New Monger village have been asked to reach the village on or before December 26.

    BJP Wokha informs: BJP Wokha will be holding its handing and taking over of outgoing and incoming president on December 14, 10 am at BJP Wokha district office, Church Colony, Wokha. Two members from all the four mandals and frontals, like BJYM, BJMM, kisan cell, ST morcha, minority morcha and ex-servicemen cell have been informed to attend the meeting without fail.

    FGN greets: Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) Kedahge, Gen (Retd) Viyane Metha, has conveyed warmest Christmas greetings to Nagas at home and abroad. Metha has called upon the people to spiritually and carnally renew the self and let the words of God reside in hearts. Metha said after declaration of Naga Independence on August 14, 1947, Nagas had hardly had a peaceful Christmas but urged the people to continue to look unto God for His intervention in bringing real peace in Nagaland and goodwill to all mankind.
