Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto Shanavas C, was inducted as district president of Nagaland Bharat Scout & Guides (NBS&G) Zunheboto on September 15 at the DC’s residence.
According to DIPR, after being inducted as the new president, the DC elaborated on the lines quoted in the Bharat Scout & Guides prayer "Hamara Karma ho Seva, Hamara Dharma ho Seva" ‘TO SERVE’.
The DC also expressed happiness on being inducted as the district president and promised his sincere service towards his duties and service towards the Nation.
The program was chaired by Y. Lhotoi Awomi AEO, Zunheboto, district commissioner NBSG. The oath taking was administered by Nikiye Assumi, district training commissioner(s); the declaration and Scouts & Guides yell was led by V. Khuyivi Achumi, district organizing commissioner(s).
All officials from Zunheboto district administration attended the program.
