
Sangtam Peoples Forum Dimapur District (SPFDD) has extended support to Nagaland Tribes Action Committee (NTAC) and Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) on the organisations demand of resignation of chief minister T.R. Zeliang.
In a release, SPFDD president L Bitong and general secretary Avise Anar stated that the Zeliang’s government has “totally lost the trust and confidence of the people of Nagaland” and that it has no moral authority to rule the state.
The forum has also demanded suspension of police personnel responsible in killing the two innocent youths. Further, SPFDD has resolved to extend full support and cooperation to JCC in imposing bandh within Dimapur till the demands are fulfilled. Meanwhile, SPFDD has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family of late Tsapise, who passed away on February 5 succumbing to injury from ULB election related incident at Longkhim town.
