Nagaland University witnessed a spectacular opening ceremony for the Inter Campus Meet 2024, dedicated to the Non-Teaching Staffs across all campuses on February 8. The sports meet is scheduled for February 8 and 9, bringing together participants from the Lumami, Kohima, Medziphema, and Dimapur campuses. The gathering aims to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the dedicated non-teaching staff members.
A press release by PRO In-Charge & Hindi officer, Nagaland University, Ashish Kumar stated that Imchawabang Aonok, the President of the Nagaland University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NUNTSA), shared news of the upcoming sports competitions.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Registrar Dr. Abemo, who marked the commencement of the event by kicking off the football. The ceremony was presided over by Vekhoyi Tetseo as the Chairperson, and it commenced with an invocation by Eziza Sumi. The event featured a special musical performance by Bethel Kinimi, adding a touch of cultural vibrancy to the occasion.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Dr. Harish K Tiwari, emphasizing the values of fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Participants from all campuses enthusiastically took the oath, pledging to uphold the spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect throughout the Inter Campus Meet 2024.
