One day training for medical officers and supervisors was held on February 7 at CMO’s conference hall. Resource person for the training was Dr. Temsu, senior medical officer WHO, and Dr. Rio State Programme Officer, school health programme and Dr. Tumchobeni, district immunization officer, Wokha.
The training was conducted so as to equip the medical officers and supervisors to monitor polio booths and health centres during the immunization campaign. Dr. Temsu encouraged strict sincerity of the health workers during IPPI to make every child below 5 years of age free from Polio.
