Noksen Students Union (NSU) undertook an educational tour to Noksen town and Noksen village from May 5 to 9 under the theme ‘Education- the right conduct towards quality education’.
During the tour, the union found there was shortage of teachers in GHS and GMS and appealed to the department to create a post for Hindi, Maths, and Science teachers as it was impossible for one teacher alone to cover the whole syllabus.
NSU further expressed dismay over non-posting of graduate teachers in Noksen town GPS and also the existing EBRC building which was without proper door, windows, training facilities and equipments.
The union has appealed to the department in-charge to intervene the matter immediately.
Meanwhile, the union while visiting PHC and the health sub–centre at Noksen also found some nurses were absent from duty and added it had action for their negligence.
