An NSCN (K) activist was injured when the two NSCN factions resorted to indiscriminate firing at the busy Tuesday Bazar, 3rd Mile, Dimapur, Tuesday around 10.30 a.m.
The injured NSCN (K) activist identified as ‘Sgt Maj’ Aghato alias Ghotovi was later taken into police custody for alleged violation of cease fire ground rules.
According to Aghato, he was buying potato when some rival activists came from behind and held a gun to his back. As he pushed the gun aside and tried to escape, a stray hit his right foot, Aghato added.
