GPS Peren inaugurated

Government Primary School Peren Kipeuzang constructed under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan was inaugurated on September 6 with Angau I Thou Mission Director SSA and Joint Secretary School Education as the chief guest and Apeuna Iheilung Deputy Inspector of Schools Peren as the guest of honor respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Angau I Thou lauded the sincere efforts of the authorities concerned in bringing about the successful completion of not only two but five rooms at Peren Kipeuzang. Stressing on the need to impart quality education, she called upon all to render their utmost for the good of the Students community who are but the torch bearer of our Society. She called upon the Village Education Committee to extend their support and cooperation to the school authorities to accomplish the quest of SSA in particular and the education department at large.
Guest of Honor, Apeuna Iheilung acknowledged the gesture of the Government in providing the necessary funds needed for the construction of the school building. She encouraged and called upon all responsible parents and Guardians to send their children to Government Schools and all the more so when the Government is doing their utmost to provide all facilities, trainings needed to impart quality education.
Earlier, Pausap Ndang, Chairman, Peren Kipeuzang Village Council chaired the program. The highlights of the program included cultural dance, songs, action songs presented by the students of GPS Peren Kipeuzang. Others who spoke on the occasion included Ngaukap Hega former VEC Chairman. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Isapleu Hega, Chairman VEC Peren Kipeuzang.
