Director and senior officers of rural development department and project directors DRDA held a performance review meeting on R.D programmes under the chairmanship of Commissioner & Secretary (R.D.) V. Sakhrie in his official chamber on September 16.
According to a release issued by Metsubo Jamir, director, RD, the programmes implemented by the department in respect of NREGA, BRGF, SGSY, IAY & RTI Act etc were discussed in detail, the commissioner while appreciating the officers also directed the PDs to be more serious in their assigned duties particularly in submission of Monthly Progress Reports.
The Rural Development Department/ DRDA and BDO’s Conference will be held on September 17 at SIRD, Conference Hall at 11 am. S. Pangnyu Phom, parliamentary secretary (R.D), chief secretary and commissioner & secretary (R.D) will address the conference.
