Sharon Hr Secy joins Peace Channel

Sensing the need of peace the hour, in locality and state, Peace Channel an emerging youth movement was formally inaugurated at Sharon Hr. Sec. School with Mathew, principal as the chief guest.
A release issued from the desk of Peace Channel, Dimapur said speaking at the inaugural function, the principal said ‘peace is the need of the hour’ and urged upon the peace club members to be a ‘channel and a cartelist of peace’ to curb violence in the society.
Pointing out that the present situation in Nagaland is going from ‘bad to worse’, he urged the youth to be spiritually awakened to experience ‘true peace’.
He also thanked and congratulated the peace channel organizers and Rev.Fr. C.P.Anto, director, for carrying out the noble task of empowering and enabling the youth to be peace promoters.
Briefing the activities of Peace Channel, Atoholi, coordinator of Peace Channel, said “our mission is to reach out to the youth in institutions and villages of our region.” Meanwhile, Alex, member, welcomed members to the family of Peace club and thanked and congratulated the authorities for officially flagging off the peace channel in the school.
