Businessman shot

Another businessman became the victim of unidentified miscreants after he was shot from close range near Central Plaza, Dimapur, Saturday at around 5:45 p.m. According to the police, the businessman identified as Muglish Rehman (35), proprietor of M/S Hill Beauty shop, New Market was returning home after closing his shop when the miscreants suddenly appeared and fired two shots at him. The victim was hit by two bullets on one M20 and another 7.65 mm caliber pistols. The third bullet reportedly missed the victim. Rehman was rushed to Faith Hospital and placed under ICU observation. Hospital sources said the victim’s condition was critical. Meanwhile, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce has condemned the incident.
