HTR Cineplex all for movie buffs

With an aim to provide alternate entertainment, HTR Cineplex an ideal cinema hall for youngsters and family was formally inaugurated Saturday at Chishi’s Complex, Circular Road, Dimapur.
Speaking after inaugurating the HTR Cineplex as chief guest, DMC chairperson, K. Khekaho Assumi said in order to build a city or town, team work should be inculcated in each and every individual.
Lauding three young entrepreneurs Tokai Sumi, Hovito Chishi and Soumyajit Roy for launching the ‘Cineplex’, perhaps the first of its kind in the state, Khekaho encouraged them by saying “everything starts with small things.” and advised them to have a vision.
DMC chairperson also said most of the Naga entrepreneurs make “Big Euphoria” in the beginning and later makes ‘hue and cry’ after their business “dies down.”
He however expressed hoped that the “Cineplex”, would change the minds of young entrepreneurs
After inaugurating the Cineplex, chief guest and invitees were entertained with a movie ‘August Rush’, keeping in tune with Valentine’s Day.
Earlier, the inaugural programme of the Cineplex, chaired by Tokai Sumi, started with an invocation prayer by Rev. Yehoshe Chishi, pastor, Bible Believing Baptist Church, Nagarjan, Dimapur.
The Cineplex, having a sitting capacity for 25 persons, is fully air conditioned with quality audio system, a unit of i-finance services.
Talking to this reporter, the young entrepreneurs said Hollywood and Bollywood movies would be screened thrice daily starting11 am, 2 pm. and 4.30 pm.
“Wholesome family entertainment security guard, safe car parking facility and other safety measures including fire extinguishers, first aid box and power pack-up incase of emergencies have also been set up”, said the young entrepreneurs.
The ticket is priced at Rs.150 per head, they informed, adding, the whole complex could also be booked according to availability of seats.
Students in uniform, chewing of tobacco, smoking and consumption of alcohol inside are strictly prohibited.
Planning to open more such Cineplex’s in the city, the entrepreneurs also informed that this venture would help generate employment.
At present, several Naga youths including three females are employed.
