Cement rates in Dimapur

As per the decision arrived at during a meeting of the DC and SP Dimapur along with the cement dealers of Dimapur, the DC has directed al the cement dealers to sell the cement as the per the rate fixed below with immediate effect in accordance with the prevailing rates in the neighbouring states of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya etc.
Bihar cement (Lafarge and ACC) at the rate of Rupees 330 per bag, STAR cement at the rate of Rupees 320 per bag and Bokajan cement at the rate of Rupees 310 per bag.
The DC in an order said that no increase in would be allowed unless prior permission was taken from the District Price Control Board. He said the prices were fixed in accordance with the rise in price in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and the neighbouring states of Assam and Meghalaya.
Meanwhile, cement dealers advised the public not to use that raided cement for heavy construction.
They also informed the public not to panic over the shortage of cement as fresh cements were expected to arrive very soon.
