Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has reiterated that it was committed to strive and work for welfare of the common people.
Replying to a comment made by programme officer (BDO) of Shamator R.D Block under Tuensang district where he alleged that he would hire “any group or faction of Naga national workers”, NPCC said if BDO of Shamator R.D block was “feeling uncomfortable” with pro common people’s activities of ‘Aam Admi Ka Sipahi’ (AAKS) then BDO could lodge a complaint report to Indian Youth Congress office in New Delhi or correspond directly with ministry of rural development, Government of India.
A press statement issued by NPYC general secretary Kiyekhu Chishi, general secretary, NPYC and SLC, Aam Admi Ka Siphai and NPYC secretary Temjen Jamir informed that AAKS was not in the duty line for any member of NPYC to hire any group or faction of Naga National Workers in any manner.
NPCC stated that state level coordinators of ‘Aam Admi Ka Sipahi’ for Nagaland was set up and approved by Indian Youth Congress with Dokiu Kecham vice president Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) as team leader.
NPCC has asked the BDO to spell out his intentions and clarify as to why he would hire Naga National Workers with specific mention of the state level co-coordinator of AAKS’s name within seven days of publication of this press release.
