South Nagas’ Union of Nagaland State (SNUNS) has expressed gratitude to NSCN/GPRN for issuing revocation order for lifting ban on Sumi Hoho without pre-conditions. A press release issued by union general secretary, L. K. Peter Anal stated that such act of accommodative gesture shown by the NSCN (I-M) was much felt at a time when reconciliation process was underway among the people. SNUNS also appealed to all Naga political groups/organizations not to practice banning of any Naga civil organization under any circumstances as it weakens the “chemistry fabric” of the Naga family, the release stated. Meanwhile, SNUNS has extended greetings to the Sumi populace on the occasion of Tuluni festival.
