Normal water supply to Mon town has been disrupted due to heavy rainfall on July 3 which damaged pipe line connectivity between treatment plant/Leangha & Chi water source to different water reservoir located in Mon Town. EE, PHED Mon, Mayangsashi Amer has informed that team of expert field staff was already being deployed in the site near GREF camp, but actual damage could not be ascertained due to the rising water in stream ‘nallah’. To restore normal water supply in the town may take approximately 15 days time, for which citizens of Mon Town have been informed to bear with the inconvenience.
