The sixth commencement exercise of Living Bible College (LBC) was conducted at NCRC Sumi Church Purana Bazaar on Sunday.
The service was held in the presence of parents, elders and youngsters with Rev. Dr. Shiwoto Assumi as the commencement speaker. Held on the theme, “Tapping talents” Exodus 35:30-36:1, the speaker in his address to the theologians advised them to be willing to serve the Lord, to steer and be filled with the Holy Spirit for building the kingdom of God.
Reminding the graduating students that many challenges lay ahead as they continue with their journey, Dr. Shiwoto said for expanding God’s kingdom, students must possess the willingness to serve and suffer.
He evoked the graduates to pray that God would steer and guide them as they move out from the college.
According to Dr. Shiwoto, once their hearts were filled with the spirit of God, they would be willing to do anything to spread the gospel.
Rev, Dr. Shiwoto advocated the theologians not to underestimate themselves but be ready to put their unique talent which they have been bestowed by the almighty. “LBC is the right college where this uniqueness could be dug out”, said Shiwoto.
Eight students- Hoho Achumi, Holika Kiba, Khual Khaw Zam, Martha Achumi, Nockging Konyak, Petoh Konyak, Tolong Peter and Vinato Chishi were conferred Bachelor of Theology. Prayer and dedication and commissioning was done by Rev. Kiyezhe, ES NCRC Sumi.
