Doordarshan, New Delhi has invited both male and female children artistes aged 10-15 years and adult artistes aged 25-50 years from the states of Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim etc. for an episode serial entitled: Mualzwata- The Great Mizo to be telecast on DD National.
Both professional and fresher artistes can apply for the episode serial before May 14, to Bijel Singh, programme coordinator, DD News, Doordarshan, New Delhi whose contact numbers are 011-23097650 and 91-8826631206. Audition will take place on May 14 or 15 at Patparganj Society, East Delhi, Shot and recording site will be at Chattarpur, New Delhi during the period from May 21 to 25. Payment will be made to the selected artistes.
Artistes are required for the characters namely Thangur, Funtia, Nangshu, Mualzwata, Nangshu’s friend and Lalbura all males and Mridula female aged 10-15 years; Zoramthangi female aged 18-23 years; Chingpui and Funtiya’s mother all female aged 35-40 years; Thangranga, Lalkhama and Selova all males aged 35-40 years, and Selova’s servant aged 20-25, Police Inspector aged 30 , IG 45 and Baba 50 all males.
