New office bldg for Rengma handicapped union

A new office building of Rengma handicapped union, Tseminyu town was inaugurated on June 24 by parliamentary secretary for horticulture, R. Khing as the chief guest.
The chief guest in his speech encouraged the Union not to lose heart for being on the disadvantage side of life when they struggle through difficult situation but to explore their talents and potential for a quality life with the belief that every man was born with a purpose despite the hardship problems and difficulties one had to face in life. He also donated Rs.50,000 towards the union fund.
President Rengma Handicapped Union, Ngabu Tep who also spoke during the function thanked the 41 Assam Rifles for sanctioning Rs.3 lakhs under Civil Action Project 2010 – 2011 to construct two rooms office for the Union that has about 275 members with different disabilities thought 85 members have been officially noted as of now.
He further noted that Rengma handicapped union office at Tseminyu town was the first of such handicapped union office in the entire State of Nagaland, which was formed in the month of October 2009.
