Urban Development and Higher Education Minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu Friday inspected self-help youth projects at D. Khel Kohima Village and Chedema. He donated a multi-purpose wood working machine each at both the projects.
Interacting with entrepreneurs during the inspection, Dr. Shürhozelie said he was impressed with their works, particularly with the utensils and decorative items and promised to help them further by upgrading their tools and technology.
He urged the entrepreneurs to improve their works and employ the services of more unemployed youth and take up self-employment projects for self-reliance. At least five to six persons are involved in the projects at both D. Khel, Kohima village (KKS furniture) and Chedema.
