Col. Sisou Rhi laid to rest

Col. Sisou Rhi passed away on July 21 at his residence, Jalukie Zangdi village, after prolonged illness. The funeral service was held at General Headquarter, Naga Army in the presence of Kilo Kilonser, Steering Members, Council of Kilonsers, Longvipu and distinguished rank and files of NSCN/GPRN and family members along with many other well wishers. 
In the program His Excellency Yaruiwo, Isak Chishi Swu’s condolence message was read out by Kedutsii Tsuziih, steering executive and Longvipu, Naga Army and adjutant general condolence message was also read out subsequently.
Condolence messages were also delivered by Kilo Kilonser, Rh. Raising, Longvipu, Naga Army, Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson, president, Chakhesang Hoho Dimapur District, and many other well wishers both from the NSCN, civil societies and individual. The funeral was administered by Rev. Heutui, Pastor, CHQ, Hebron.
Condolence messages:
Isak Chishi Swu: In his condolence message, Isak Chishi Swu, Yaruiwo stated late Col. Sisou Rhi, son of late Sonyai Rhi of Zhavmi village, Chakhesang Region served in the NNC from 1986 and later joined the NSCN on May, 2007 and served as Ghq Quarter Master, 2 i/c Ihoshe Bn, and presently posted at Ghq.
Swu paid tribute for the service Rhi had rendered to Naga nation and also expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and the departed soul rest in peace.
Maj Gen. M Joshua: Maj Gen. M Joshua, Adjutant General, headquarter Naga Army expressing grief at the demise of Lieutenant Colonel Sisou Rhi. Maj Gen stated he (Rhi) remained committed towards the cause of Naga Nation. The Naga army joined the chief of army in paying homage to the departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson: In his condolence message, Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson expressed pain knowing that Sesou, a committed co-worker was no more. Lieut. Gen. Ng. Markson stated that the invaluable contributions and noble service offered by Col. Sesou would go down well in the book of Naga history, and prayed the good Lord to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and compassion upon the bereaved family.
Rhimeh clan: Rhimeh clans expressed shock at the demise of Lieut. Col. Sisou. The clan described late Lieut. Col. Sisou Theba Rhi as the bravest soldier, and famous Naga warrior while fighting for Naga Independence who also served as a police under Nagaland Arm Police (NAP), prior to his joining in Naga army. Sisou represented Nagaland IGP football team and even played outside the state, Rhimeh Clan stated.
