The Naga Designers’ Association (NDA) which was formed in the year 2008 by a group of young, desirous and competent designers of Nagaland will be organizing its ‘Launch Show’ in the month of October under the theme “Going Glocal-Emanating the Indigenous”.
The show will be an outlandish event where collective designers will showcase three rounds of formal, casual and designers’ masterpieces respectively. Entertainment in the form of music and dance will be performed by various artists of Nagaland.
The executives of the Association include Rosou Rhi as president, Kavili Kiba as vice president, Modovicha Mocha as secretary, Tzunapen as assistant secretary, Jakjemkhala and Piketo as publicity and information secretaries, Kaholi as finance secretary and Kuvesalu Puro as treasurer respectively.
The logistics board members are Hekali Zhimomi (IAS), director, Census Operation of Nagaland, Zubeno Mozhui, Director, Hope Centre of Excellence, Allen Mark, Zhuwoto Kiba, NPF Member Nagaland and Mosunyi Domeh while the impact team include Bambi Longchari, Atsu Sekhose and Imcha Imchen respectively.
The launch show will showcase collective creations of the designers focusing mainly on the Naga traditions and will be choreographed by a renowned international Choreographer.
