The 19th Phek ACCC has refuted the resignation statement of Savenieyi Keyho, Chivoyi Keyho and Munuve Hoshi of Phek village from Congress as published in this daily on July 30.
President, 19th Phek ACCC Huvosa S. Venuh and general secretary, Thupuveyi Rhakho in a press release clarified that Savenieyi Keyho was served show-cause notice on July 19 for his anti-party activities as per provision of the Constitution.
The 14 days show-cause notice to him was to end on August 1 and that for a person facing disciplinary action, the question of resignation did not arise, stated 19th Phek ACCC.
The unit also revealed that Chivoyi Keyho and Munuve Hoshi were not bonafide Congress members and that the post of assistant secretary does not exist in Congress organizational set up.
The 19th Phek ACCC therefore cautioned such people to refrain from misusing the party name in future.
