Excited students of G. Rio School put up different models ranging from volcanic eruptions, agricultural technology, pollution, solar energy, animal kingdom, traffic rules, earthquake etc., during the annual science exhibition held in the school premises on Saturday.
Assistant headmistress G. Rio School, Lanu Vihienuo observed that the objective of organising the science exhibition was to create a platform to improve not only academic skills but also social skills of the students.
“This will help in all round development of the students”, she maintained.
She further said organising such programme would help students to delve deeper at what they are learning, not just memorizing but to present themselves in public and ultimately expand their social skills.
Students from both junior and senior blocks participated in the science exhibition.
