One day training cum demonstration programme on the topic, “Food Preservation: Jam and Squash Preparation” for Self Help Groups (SHGs) under Department of Agriculture, Zunheboto district was held on August 10. Around 30 women from 10 SHG’s participated in the programme.
Further, L. Kivika Chophi, AO II highlighted the importance of food processing and preservation and a short speech was given by Lutovi, AO II, followed by the technical session by Tonikali, AI, who explained the methods and procedures with demonstration. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Tohovi, SK.
