Taking serious note of anomalies in the school education department, NSF has placed a five-point charter of demands before the department demanding they be fulfilled within 45 days failing which it would resort to own course of action.
In a representation addressed to the commissioner & secretary, school education, dated August 17 NSF listed its five-point charter of demands, which included: immediate termination of all the teachers appointed with fake educational certificates, appointment orders with forged signature, fake appointment orders and absentee teachers.
It demanded the department immediately authenticate doubtful and ad hoc categories of teachers and terminate the irregular teachers.
NSF also demanded immediate redeployment of teachers with placement and retention of trained teachers by giving preference to local candidates maintaining full staff strength of the schools.
The federation urged the department to immediately stop “transfer with post” of teachers and that no teachers be attached to DIS, DEO, directorate and ministerial establishments.
Further, it demanded action be taken against government officers or persons involved in the “entire scam of irregular appointments”.
In the light of the above demands, the NSF said it would be compelled to resort to own course of actions and the responsible authority would be held solely accountable and responsible for any consequences, if its demands were not expedited and complied within forty five days with effect from the submission of the representation.
