A 23-year-old non-local youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a Dhansiri Bridge, Nagarjan Thursday.
Police said the deceased identified as Arjun Kumar Yadav, son of Ram Zahadur Yadav, hailing from Maria village, Bihar and presently residing at Lomithi Colony Dimapur, had an argument with his father, who is in Bihar, the previous night.
He then early this morning ran out of home threatening to commit suicide. His brother, who ran after him, could not catch up with him and lost the track. His body was then found hanging at the bridge by some passerby and reported the police. Police said after carrying out verifications the body was handed over to the family members.
