State chief electoral officer has informed that Designated Photography Location (DPL) has been set up in all the district headquarters so that no genuine registered voters remained unphotographed.
The extended photography campaign would be carried out from August 23-30. The DPI would be located in the office premises of DC & district election officer in all the districts. A special DPL would be set up in the state civil secretariat. State chief electoral officer J. Alam in a release has requested all the government offices to let their employees and other voters in their family visit DPLs.
Meanwhile, the CEO also informed that those genuine voters whose names were found missing from the current Electoral Rolls would get an opportunity to register themselves during the special summary revision of electoral rolls that would be launched w.e.f. October 1, 2011.
