To save ‘mother earth’ from devastation, forest department Tuensang has been taking initiative by planting various bamboo and trees saplings at major landslides zone and sensitive areas in and around Tuensang town.
The plantation drive was led by Hq Range Officer, staff and well-wisher of Tuensang town and rural villages and landslides areas.
The forest department has meanwhile appealed to the people to plant more trees in the affected area in order to keep devastation and unwanted environment hazards at bay.
