A one-day training on rubber plantation was conducted jointly by Changtongya and Ongpangkong ‘S’ blocks under ATMA, Mokokchung on August 17 at Tuli.
The programme was chaired by Imliakum SDAO & BTT convener (CTN block). L. Nokdang Pongen, a rubber cultivator from Kangtsungyimsen village, Mokokchung was the resource person who trained the farmers on how to manage rubber seedlings nursery, proper planting, manuring and tapping of rubber latex.
Vote of thanks was delivered by N. Alem, A.O. & BTT member. Altogether 43 farmers from CTN and ONG ‘S’ blocks attended the training programme.
