Merhülietsa local board launches sanitation drive

Merhülietsa local board, ward No.18 sanitation drive was launched on August 29 by Sahu Yiese, HoD, printing and stationary. Sahu dwelt the history of Merhülietsa and said it used to be a picnic spot 4 to 5 years back while also stating that it was a beautiful valley. He recalled how he admired the valley and expressed pride to be a resident of the colony and called upon the residents to have a sense of belonging in order to further develop the colony. He also impressed that substantial development would come when there is cooperation among its members and encouraged the colony youth to keep up with its activities.
Meanwhile, noting that the youth of the colony would be celebrating its silver jubilee soon, he asked them to contribute towards making the celebration a success. Earlier, I.Rongsen Jamir, Chairman MLB chaired the function while pastor Vizolie Zhale said the invocation.
The sanitation drive was launched in the presence of Er. Y. Chuba Ao, Zenito Yano, R.F Lotha, Dr.Keyiekhrie Kire, Kaholi Yeptho, K.Neibu Sekhose, Dr.R.Zinyü, Moa Aier, GB Merhülietsa, Thinohe-u GB Merhülietsa and Tsenchamo Khuvung, GB Lower Agri respectively.
