Six auto-rickshaw passengers, who were returning to Dimapur after marketing at 4th mile bazaar, were allegedly looted at ISBT junction, Purana Bazaar here by three Naga youths August 27 at around 7:30 p.m. All three accused were arrested by East PS personnel at Purana bazaar area the August 28. According to police, three Naga youths identified as one Aloto Sema (26), Avika Sumi (18) and Kaito Sumi (23), all hailing from Model colony Purana Bazaar, boarded an autorickshaw at 3rd Mile Bazaar and after reaching ISBT junction, threatened the co-passengers and looted their cash. Police said Aloto Sema was arrested on August 21, 2010 for illegal possession of arms and ammunition. It was also disclosed that earlier he was an NSCN (I-M) cadre. The arrested have been charged with highway robbery and criminal conspiracy.
