
In a delayed report, a CRPF personal allegedly trespassed and into a private residence of a woman probably with a questionable motive but had to flee when the woman shouted and alerted nearby residents on August 27.
According to reliable source, the accused CRPF personal (whose identity was yet to be ascertained) allegedly entered the private residence and after removing his uniform, put on woman’s dress that was left exposed outside in the same compound then entered the house where the woman lived. However, the woman occupant on seeing him raise hue and cry and alerted other in the locality.
The panic-stricken CRPF personal fled the scene in the woman’s dress, leaving behind his uniform, it was learnt.
Meanwhile, following the incident, the residents of the locality reportedly held series of meeting and took up the matter and filed an FIR at the South Police Station yesterday. It was also learnt that the CRPF had sought the statement of the victim to initiate necessary action against the accused personnel. However, there was no report of action being taken against the accused culprit so far.
On the other hand, it was also learnt that the police have yet to initiate any action on the FIR. It was also learnt that there has been series of consultation and meeting going on at the locality and tribal level even at the time of filing this report.
