The new union hall of Longmisa senso Telongjem (LSU) Mokokchung was inaugurated at Tongdentsuyong ward by Lithrongla G. Chishi, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, who was the chief guest at the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Lithrongla said it was indeed a blessing for the union to be able to construct such a magnificent building and expressed her wish that the hall would be a place where anti-social activities should not be entertained but to make it a birthplace of many positive agendas for the common good of the society.
She also encouraged the gathering not to be hypocrites especially the Church leaders as Nagas still have a knack of offering special prayers for an individual who donates a substantial amount of money regardless of the source.
The programme was chaired by Imsulemba, President, Longmisa Senso Telongjem, Mokokchung. Lolenkaba, Chairman, Tongdentsuyong ward also gave a short speech and a special song by Longmisa Students’ Union.
