Maj Gen BS Das, SM has taken over the reins as the new IGAR (N) from Maj Gen Sandeep Singh on Friday.
Maj. Gen Das commissioned into the 8th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment, conveyed that the relationship between the Assam Rifles and the civil society at large in the state has been extremely cordial and it would be his sincere and constant endeavor to strengthen the same.
He also expressed his deep respect for the Naga society and conveyed his best wishes to all and hoped to see further progress in all spheres. He also said he would work towards ushering in peace and tranquillity to this wonderful land of festivals.
