Azheto exhort parents at Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec

Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School (LFHSS) observed its parents’ cum children’s day on Monday.
The theme for the occasion was “Aspire to inspire before you expire” and was graced by Azheto Zhimomi, MLA, Advisor Co-operation and Sericulture, Govt. of Nagaland.

In his speech, Azheto mentioned of how such meets act as a platform to witness the unfolding of talents in various disciplines such as singing, dancing, oratory, drama etc. He also said that the institute imparts quality education which develops one’s personality. 

Concluding his speech, the chief guest advised the teachers to be dynamic and to be more forward to the students in giving advices.

He also advised the students to show love and respect, to inspire others and to make the most out of small and simple things in life. The administrator of LFHSS, Arthur Edwards spoke about the important role the parents have to play in their child’s life as he mentioned that education begins at home and then comes the instructions in school.

There was an array of performances through the afternoon with the administrator Arthur Edwards even joining in on one of the performances.

A special treat was also witnessed by the students and parents as the teachers of LFHSS did a dance act on stage. Andrew Ahoto, Chairman, LFHSS gave the highlight of 2012 to the parents to let them know what is expected and what needs to be achieved in the year 2012.
